Hi Albee LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides an AI-assisted conversational app designed to offer supportive dialogue and creative reflection.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Display name, email address (for registered accounts), and optional profile details.
• Conversational data: Messages you send within the app and related session metadata needed to operate chat features.
• Device and technical data: Device type, OS version, crash logs, and analytics through service providers such as Sentry or Bugsnag.
• Payment data: Processed securely through Apple, Google, or RevenueCat — we do not store full payment details.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, personalize, and improve the Hi Albee experience within the app.
• To generate AI-assisted responses and related in-app features.
• To analyze crashes, debug issues, and respond to support or legal requests.

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

Hi Albee uses artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI to generate conversational responses and related features within the app.

When you use chat or similar features, the following categories of data may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing:

• Messages and other content you submit in conversation
• Account or session identifiers needed to associate requests with your use of the app
• Technical metadata required to deliver the service securely and reliably

OpenAI acts as a service provider processing data on our behalf for the purpose of providing AI-generated responses within Hi Albee. We require appropriate contractual and security safeguards for subprocessors handling user data.

Before using chat features, the app presents an in-app disclosure identifying OpenAI and asks you to affirmatively agree before conversational data is sent for processing.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not authorize OpenAI to use your conversations to train public foundation models on your behalf unless separately disclosed and agreed where applicable.

4. Other Data Sharing

We may share limited data with other service providers under data-processing agreements, including:

• Supabase (authentication, database, and infrastructure)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Analytics and crash-reporting tools
• Apple and Google platform services for billing and distribution

5. AI Disclaimer

Hi Albee uses AI-generated text. Responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect unintended bias. The app should not be relied on for medical, legal, or emergency advice.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@hialbee.com. Requests are honored within 30 days where legally required (GDPR/CCPA).

7. Data Security

Connections use HTTPS/TLS. Sensitive fields are protected in transit and at rest where applicable. Tokens are stored using SecureStore or platform keychain services.

8. Children’s Privacy

Hi Albee is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
